AFC Asian Cup 2011 Match Schedule
The AFC Asian Cup 2011 will see the host, Qatar, kicking off their campaign against Uzbekistan on January 7. The two teams belong to Group A, which also has China and Kuwait.
The tournament looks to be packed with really strong teams from nations like Japan, South Korea, Australia and Saudi Arabia. Iraq will have a tough time defending the title that they won in 2007. They are in Group D along with Iran, the United Arab Emirates and DPR Korea. While the game against UAE is winnable, the game against Iran on January 11, looks to be really tough and one of the matches of the tournament.
