Montenegro vs England Preview : £135,000 A MON TO BEAT FABIO CAPELLO

MONTENEGRO’S players will pick up a whopping £135,000 each if they beat England tomorrow and qualify for the Euro 2012 finals.

But the home side are also fired up to beat Fabio Capello’s men because they feel they were not treated with enough respect at Wembley, where they earned a shock 0-0 draw a year ago.

The cash incentive dwarves what England’s stars will get. The FA will place the emphasis on progress at the tournament next summer, with each stage understood to be worth about £200,000 per man.

But it is not all about money, as FC Seoul striker Dejan Damjanovic explained. He said: “At Wembley, they didn’t play seriously against us.

“England didn’t show us enough respect. They probably thought they would beat us easily. “But to be honest, they played pretty badly and we played unbelievably. If we defend very well again we could do something special.”

Damjanovic also hoped England would find it tough to deal with the cramped Podgorica City Stadium.

With a capacity of just 17,500, it will be a far cry from Wembley. Damjanovic added: “It is a small stadium with a great atmosphere.

“I hope the fans can help us one more time to do something really special against England.” Midfielder Marko Cetkovic, who plays in Poland, added: “We can beat England. This is the biggest game in our history.”

The Montenegrins travel to Switzerland on Tuesday, while England need just a point to make it to the finals.
