There are many changer in the team this 2010-2011 season and they hope to get a better chance of winning the Big Ten Championship and to be included in the Rose Bowl competition. Last season the Iowa Hawkeyes finished 11-2 overall and 6-2 in the Big Ten. This awarded them with a trip to the Orange Ball where they defeated Georgia Tech at 24-14. Among the names to watch for this team includes returning quarterback Ricky Stanzi, running back Adam Robinson, the receiver Derrell Johnson Koulianos, Gerry Adrian defensive end, defensive tackle Karl Klug, Fort Taylor Sash safety and running back Brandon Weghe. Currently, they are ranked number 16 in the recently released BCS rankings after winning against then number 5 Michigan State Spartans. The team has still four remaining games based on their NCAA College Football 2010 schedule below. Among these games, the biggest threat perhaps is their game against ranked team Ohio State on Nov. 20. Iowa hopes to build the momentum with their biggest win under coach Kirk Ferentz.
